Equestrian Foundation Announces Breyer Horse Exhibit
Nebraska Ag Connection - 03/12/2019

Breyer Horses, world leader in the model horse industry, will be featured at the 2019 Burlington Capital International Omaha April 4-7 at the CHI Health Center Omaha.

Visitors can view a collection of customized model horses as well as take part in workshops to create model horse accessories. Kids of all ages will be able to paint a Stablemates model of their very own on Saturday and Sunday, while they learn from some of the leading craftsman in the industry. Vendors will be on hand for guests to purchase a variety of model horses.

"We are excited to partner with the International Omaha to highlight the model horse hobby. The artists being showcased at this exhibit are extraordinarily talented. They will inspire you to explore the world of model horses beyond collecting," says Jaime Potkalesky, Senior Events Manager for Breyer Horses.

"Breyer enthusiasts in the Midwest now have a place to gather," said Mike West, CEO of Omaha Equestrian. "Breyer's mission of education and access align perfectly with the mission of the Omaha Equestrian Foundation and we are thrilled to welcome them to Omaha."

Every Breyer model is hand crafted and sculpted according to its real-life equine counterpart. Artists still hand-paint every horse model to this day, which means no two models are alike. BreyerFest, held each year in Lexington, Ky., attracts over 34,000 visitors each year and is the pinnacle for model horse showing, shopping, and equestrian entertainment.

Also available throughout the weekend are shopping opportunities within the Boutique Shopping Village. The Horse Discovery Zone is a free educational area with interactive educational exhibits, including a Gallery of Breeds and Demo Arena for the kids of all ages to learn about horses.

General admission tickets are on sale through all Ticketmaster outlets and online. Hospitality and VIP packages are available at www.internationalomaha.com. Sponsorships are available, please contact Mike West at mwest@omahaequestrian.com to learn more about how to get your business involved with the largest horse event in the Midwest.
