CDBG Certified Administrators Training Available

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) is hosting the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Certified Administrators training on June 6-9. This training is available to any individual who wishes to become a CDBG Certified Administrator.

All municipalities and counties that are awarded CDBG funding must hire and/or employ certified administrators to oversee projects. Attendees are expected to complete the entire four-day certification training and successfully pass a written exam to become certified. The training will take place at the State Office Building (301 Centennial Mall South) in Lincoln. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m., with training commencing at 9 a.m.

May 26 is the deadline to register for the training. A $100 per person registration fee includes all training materials. Refunds will only be provided for those who cancel their registration before or on June 2.
