Comment on Bird Damage Management in Nebraska
Nebraska Ag Connection - 09/24/2020

Wildlife Services (WS), a program within the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) entitled "Environmental Assessment for Bird Damage Management in Nebraska."

The EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts of alternatives for WS involvement in bird damage management in Nebraska. The EA is available for review and comment prior to issuing a decision on the alternative to be selected and its associated environmental impacts. The proposed action is to implement an integrated approach using a variety of methods to reduce bird damage to agricultural resources, property, human health and safety, and natural resources.

WS is requesting that the public review and provide comments on the EA by Nov. 6.

Interested parties may view and provide comments on the EA at beta.regulations.gov/docket/APHIS-2020-0095.

All comments received, including the names and addresses of those who comment, will be part of the public record and will be released for public review as required and allowed by law.
