39 Percent of Nebraska Wheat Rates Good to Excellent



For the week ending Sunday, Nebraska topsoil moisture supplies rated 21% very short, 47% short, 31% adequate, and 1% surplus, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 19% very short, 49% short, 32% adequate, and 0% surplus.

Winter wheat condition rated 8% very poor, 11% poor, 42% fair, 37% good, and 2% excellent.

Data for this news were provided at the county level by USDA Farm Service Agency, UNL Extension Service, and other reporters across the State.
