The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has introduced a new email subscription feature to help pesticide users stay informed about updates related to Endangered Species Act (ESA) requirements. The service provides automatic notifications from the Bulletins Live! Two system, delivering important pesticide-use restriction updates directly to users.
EPA developed the feature in response to requests from pesticide applicators, growers, and other stakeholders seeking an easier way to track regulatory changes. The agency hopes the tool will simplify compliance efforts while supporting the protection of threatened and endangered species.
Bulletins Live! Two is EPA’s online platform for sharing location-specific pesticide use requirements. Some pesticide labels direct users to the system to determine whether additional restrictions apply in a particular area.
EPA regularly updates the platform by adding new Pesticide Use Limitation Areas (PULAs) and revising existing restrictions. Because requirements can change over time, users may encounter new limitations in areas where none previously existed.
The email alert system is designed to keep pesticide users informed without requiring them to routinely check the website. Timely notifications can help applicators review updated requirements before making pesticide applications.
Subscribers will receive alerts about major system updates, newly established PULAs, and changes to existing limitation areas. These notifications provide quick access to information that may affect pesticide use in specific locations.
EPA said the new feature supports responsible pesticide management and helps users stay current with evolving environmental requirements. The subscription service is available through the Bulletins Live! Two website, where users can enroll to receive ongoing updates.
