As a reminder, the Nebraska Department of Labor reported that if you hire students under the age of 16, you must have the student obtain a work permit from the largest school in their district. This also applies to students who are home schooled.
Work permits are good for one year, as long as the student is employed at the same company. For example, if the student gets a work permit and is working at ABC & quits to work for XYZ, they would need to get a new work permit.
