The Center for Agricultural Profitability has announced an educational initiative titled "Grain Marketing for 2025," a webinar series tailored for farmers, agricultural professionals, and industry stakeholders. This series is set to begin on January 14, 2025, and includes five informative sessions scheduled bi-weekly at noon CT.
Designed to assist participants in understanding and adapting to the dynamic grain market, each webinar will cover crucial topics including World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE), cost of production analysis, seasonal price patterns, pre-harvest pricing strategies, and decisions surrounding Crop Insurance contracts such as the Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO) and the Enhanced Coverage Option (ECO).
The webinar series will be led by esteemed agricultural economists Cory Walters and Jessica Groskopf. Their expertise will provide attendees with insights into effectively managing their grain marketing strategies amidst the uncertainties of future market prices, fluctuating yields, and significant investment costs.
