The Nebraska Farm Bureau has reaffirmed its support for U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts, noting that he is the only candidate in the U.S. Senate race to receive the organization's endorsement. The group cited his long-standing support for Nebraska agriculture and rural communities.
Farm Bureau leaders highlighted Ricketts' efforts to support farmers and ranchers through policies focused on profitability, market expansion, and reduced regulatory burdens. They also pointed to his support for rural infrastructure, farm safety net programs, and agricultural risk-management tools.
The organization emphasized several key initiatives backed by Ricketts, including increased grazing opportunities at the Valentine National Wildlife Refuge and efforts to provide greater regulatory certainty for producers. He has also supported policies aimed at strengthening competition in the cattle industry and expanding E15 fuel access.
Nebraska Farm Bureau leaders said the agricultural community benefits from experienced leadership that understands the needs of producers. The organization believes Ricketts has consistently advocated for issues important to Nebraska's farming and ranching sectors.
The Nebraska Farm Bureau represents nearly 55,000 member families across the state. Through advocacy, education, and service programs, the organization works to support agriculture and promote economic growth in both rural and urban areas of Nebraska.
