Nebraska farms gain LLC training resource

Nebraska farms gain LLC training resource

By Scout Nelson

The Nebraska Women in Agriculture program has introduced a new online course, LLCs for Nebraska Farms and Ranches, available from July 1 to August 31, 2025. Designed specifically for agricultural producers, this course offers clear, practical guidance for forming or managing a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in the agricultural sector.

Hosted within the program’s Agri-Essentials online learning community, the course is self-paced, allowing participants to complete lessons on their own schedule. It is tailored to meet the unique needs of Nebraska’s farms and ranches, covering essential topics such as the benefits of an LLC, legal considerations, and effective management practices.

Whether participants are exploring LLCs as a potential business structure or looking to refine the management of an existing LLC, the course aims to provide actionable tools and strategies to strengthen agricultural enterprises.

Enrollment in Agri-Essentials costs $175 per person and includes access to this LLC course as well as all other content and courses released in the learning community until February 28, 2026. This extended access allows participants to continue building their knowledge in various agricultural business topics beyond the LLC training.

“This course is designed to provide agricultural producers with the resources and flexibility they need to make informed business decisions,” said the Nebraska Women in Agriculture program.

The training is open to the public and begins immediately upon enrollment. By focusing on both the legal and operational aspects of LLCs, the program helps ensure that Nebraska agricultural businesses are well-prepared for long-term stability and growth.
