Robinette Farms and HealthierU Join for Produce

Robinette Farms and HealthierU Join for Produce

By Scout Nelson

HealthierU is teaming up with Robinette Farms to take part in the 2025 Mayor’s Local Food Challenge. This partnership aims to make fresh, local produce more accessible while helping HealthierU reach the Platinum Level of the challenge.

As part of the partnership, HealthierU will serve as a pick-up location for Robinette Farms’ produce subscription boxes. The pick-up site will be located at the HealthierU office inside the University Health Center on City Campus, starting July 17. This service is available to university employees and supports the goal of increasing access to locally grown food over the next 18 weeks.

Robinette Farms is known for its certified organic microgreens, salad greens, and 100% grass-fed beef. The farm works with over 30 local producers to bring fresh produce and locally raised foods to the community. Through their local food subscription program, Robinette Farms offers a variety of products that support healthy eating and community connections.

By partnering with HealthierU, the subscription program expands its reach, providing a convenient way for university employees to enjoy farm-fresh products. This initiative supports both the community’s health and the mission of the Local Food Challenge, encouraging healthy food choices and promoting local agriculture.

“Beginning July 17, the HealthierU office, located in the University Health Center on City Campus, will serve as a new pick-up location for the Robinette Farm Subscription boxes.”

This partnership highlights the importance of community-based food systems and supports the vision of making fresh produce available and convenient for local consumers. Through such efforts, HealthierU and Robinette Farms strengthen community ties while promoting healthy living and support for local farmers.
