The East Campus Discovery Days and Farmers Market will return on August 9, 2025, at the East Campus Mall of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. This family-friendly event is open to the public and runs from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, offering a lively experience for all ages.

More than just a farmers' market, this event brings together science, fun, and community spirit. Visitors can enjoy hands-on science activities designed to engage curious minds of every age. The event creates a unique space where learning meets entertainment.

Guests will also find a bustling farmers market and vendor fair, offering a range of fresh produce, crafts, and local goods available for purchase. Alongside shopping, visitors can relax and enjoy live music performances, adding a festive touch to the day’s activities.

A variety of food trucks will be on-site, serving delicious treats and meals. And for those with sweet tooth, a visit to the newly renovated UNL Dairy Store is a must, with its famous ice cream offerings waiting to be enjoyed.

Nature lovers can take in the scenic beauty of the Backyard Farmer Garden, a peaceful spot within the event grounds that showcases Nebraska’s horticulture and gardening talents.
