Farmers and ranchers have a unique opportunity in January 2024 to attend free legal and financial clinics across the state. These clinics offer confidential, one-on-one sessions with experienced agricultural law attorneys and financial counselors. Unlike group sessions, these meetings provide individualized attention and privacy.
The professionals at these clinics specialize in a range of topics pertinent to the agricultural community. These include financial and business planning, transition planning, understanding farm loan programs, navigating debtor/creditor laws, optimizing debt structure and cash flow, and leveraging agricultural disaster programs.
Participants will gain an independent, outside perspective on various aspects that could be impacting their farm or ranch operations.
The clinics are scheduled for the following dates and locations:
· Thursday, Jan. 4 in Norfolk
· Thursday, Jan. 11 in Fairbury
· Tuesday, Jan. 23 in Norfolk
These sessions are an invaluable resource for those seeking expert advice on legal and financial matters related to agriculture. Interested individuals are encouraged to sign up early due to the personalized nature of the clinics.
To register for a free clinic or for more information, farmers and ranchers can call the Nebraska Farm Hotline at 1-800-464-0258.
