An Eastern Nebraska farmer says he’s concerned that soil moisture is less than ideal to start the 2023 crop.

Quentin Connealy farms an hour north of Omaha along the Missouri River and says the region is well below average precipitation. “I’d say we’re already 5 inches behind that already.”
