Soybean Board to Discuss FY26 Proposals

Soybean Board to Discuss FY26 Proposals

By Scout Nelson

The Nebraska Soybean Board (NSB) has announced that it will hold its next meeting on September 3, 2025. The meeting will take place at the NSB office located at 4625 Innovation Drive in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The board will conduct its regular business while also focusing on important decisions related to future projects. A key part of the agenda includes finalizing funding for fiscal year 2026 proposals, ensuring resources are directed toward programs and initiatives that strengthen Nebraska’s soybean industry. In addition, the board will hear about new opportunities that could benefit soybean producers and the broader agricultural community.

The meeting is open to the public, allowing transparency and engagement with stakeholders who want to better understand the work being carried out by the Nebraska Soybean Board. This provides an opportunity for interested individuals to observe discussions and gain insight into how soybean checkoff funds are invested in research, promotion, and education.

The Nebraska Soybean Board plays a vital role in supporting the growth and sustainability of soybean production in the state. Through investments in innovation, market development, and farmer outreach, the board continues to contribute to the advancement of the industry both locally and globally.

The complete agenda for the meeting is available for inspection on the Nebraska Soybean Board website at www.nebraskasoybeans.org.
