Nebraska Extension is inviting farm and ranch families to take part in an important survey focused on understanding the effects of divorce, separation, and child custody changes. These life events can create major challenges not only for families but also for farm and ranch operations.
The Nebraska Family Farmer and Rancher Divorce Survey aims to collect real experiences from individuals who have recently gone through such situations. The goal is to better understand how these changes impact daily farm activities, financial stability, and emotional well-being. With this information, Nebraska Extension plans to design support programs that meet the specific needs of agricultural families.
The survey is simple and takes around 10 minutes to complete. It includes questions related to separation from a spouse or partner and modifications in child custody arrangements. The responses will help researchers study patterns and identify areas where assistance is most needed.
The Methodology and Evaluation Research Core Facility at the University of Nebraska Lincoln is conducting the survey on behalf of Nebraska Extension. All information collected will remain confidential. Individual responses will not be identified or shared publicly. Instead, the results will be combined with others to create a clear and accurate report.
Participation in the survey is completely voluntary. Those interested can easily access it online using the official link: Take the survey- https://ssp.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5tNLESZjcvhfZe6? or copy and paste the URL for the same.
