The Center for Agricultural Profitability at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is hosting a valuable webinar to discuss the newly released 2024 Nebraska Farm Custom Rates Report.
Scheduled for July 11, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, this online event will be led by Glennis McClure, a renowned Farm and Ranch Management Analyst.
The Nebraska Farm Custom Rates Report is compiled every two years based on a survey conducted among agricultural custom operators in Nebraska.
In 2022, the survey garnered 159 responses, providing up-to-date information on rates charged by custom operators for machine hire services and other agricultural tasks.
These operators, identified by Nebraska Extension personnel or self-identified, participated in the survey either through a paper format or an online link.
During the webinar, participants will gain insights into how the collected data can be applied to enhance the profitability and efficiency of their farming operations.
The report covers a variety of services provided across Nebraska, helping neighboring farms and ranches or supporting broader business enterprises.
This session is open to the public and offers an excellent opportunity for farmers, ranchers, and agricultural business owners to understand the current trends and pricing in farm custom operations.
To join the webinar, interested parties are encouraged to register through the Zoom link.
