A livestock identification meeting takes place on April 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Central time in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. The event will be held at the Fergus Falls YMCA and is organized to help youth and families prepare for the upcoming fair season.
This meeting focuses on sharing important updates in animal science and providing useful information for livestock exhibitors. Participants learn about current requirements, project expectations, and best practices for managing livestock projects. The event also gives attendees the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance from experienced educators.
The meeting is open to both new and experienced 4-H livestock exhibitors and their families. It helps participants better understand the livestock identification process and offers support for those who are new to the program. Families can also purchase the ID tags needed for the 2026 fair season during the event.
