AgCareers Launches Updated Classroom Career Kit

AgCareers Launches Updated Classroom Career Kit

By Jamie Martin

AgCareers has reaffirmed its dedication to agricultural education with the launch of the third edition of the U.S. Classroom Implementation Kit. This essential resource provides educators and career advisors with tools to help students discover meaningful career paths within the food and agriculture industries.

Developed in partnership with the National FFA Organization, the kit aligns with the latest AgCareers U.S. Food & Agriculture Career Guide. It includes engaging lesson plans, interactive worksheets, and ready-to-use classroom activities. Teachers can also access online links and extended learning options tailored to meet diverse classroom needs.

“We talked to so many teachers at last week’s National FFA Convention who were thrilled to have this new resource for their classroom,” said Bonnie Johnson, Marketing & Communications Manager, AgCareers. “We want to ensure that educators across the U.S. know about this unique resource to educate and explore the unlimited career pathways in the agriculture and food industry.”

Students using the kit will learn how to explore available career resources, prepare for internships and mentorships, and understand the many roles agriculture offers. The lessons are primarily designed for high school students but can easily be adapted for other educational levels.

The Classroom Implementation Kit is available free for educators at AgCareers Classroom Implementation Guide. The accompanying Food & Agriculture Career Guide continues to be a vital tool connecting students to employers and opportunities in the agriculture and food sectors.
