The Nebraska Women in Agriculture program is gearing up for its upcoming book club meeting, where Phil M Jones's “Exactly What to Say” will take center stage.
This selection is particularly apt for those interested in mastering the art of conversation, a vital skill in any professional setting. The virtual discussion is slated for December 19 at 10 a.m. Central Time, led by Lisa Kaslon of Nebraska Extension.
Jones's book teaches the use of specific phrases or "magic words" that can transform communication effectiveness, a tool beneficial for personal and professional growth. These techniques are designed to help readers navigate conversations with greater confidence and ease.
Lisa Kaslon, who will guide the book club discussion, has a rich history of contributing to educational initiatives that address the needs of Nebraska’s agricultural community. Her expertise in communication has made a significant impact at previous Women in Ag Conferences, making her an ideal facilitator for this session.
Registration for the book club is currently open and complimentary for participants, with a bonus for the first 24 registrants who will receive a free copy of the book. This book club is a continuation of Nebraska Women in Agriculture's commitment to fostering an environment of learning and growth for women in the farming sector.
Participants can expect to gain valuable insights into effective communication strategies that are essential for successful professional interactions within and beyond agriculture.
