Nebraska farmers and agronomists will have the opportunity to review real world research results this winter through a series of updated meetings hosted by the Nebraska On-Farm Research Network. These meetings will focus on findings from farm trials conducted during the 2025 growing season.
The Annual Results Update meetings are designed to help attendees understand how different products practices and management strategies are performed on farms across the state. Presentations will cover a wide range of topics including crop production of fertility and soil management to cover crops, crop protection equipment, and non-traditional products.
“With around 115 studies covering 37 Nebraska counties, there truly are topics for everyone interested,” said Adam Leise, Nebraska On-Farm Research Network director. “These studies cover a wide array of agronomic knowledge, and economic thresholds. The locally sourced information is highly beneficial for growers in all areas of our state.”
Farmer led projects conducted in 2025 included research on imagery-based nitrogen decision making dry edible bean production soybean seed treatments soybean seeding rates and drone applied fungicides. These studies provide practical insights that can be applied to future growing seasons.
The NOFRN will host six results update meetings across the state throughout February and March:
- Tuesday, Feb. 17 -Holthus Convention Center, York
- Wednesday, Feb. 18 - Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension and Educator Center, near Mead
- Tuesday, Feb. 24 -Buffalo County Extension Office, Kearney
- Thursday, Feb. 26 -Knight Museum and Sandhills Center, Alliance
- Tuesday, March 3 -Holt County Extension Office, O’Neill
- Wednesday, March 4 --Kimmel Orchard Event Center, Nebraska City
All meetings will begin at 9 a.m. local time with check-in and refreshments available 30 minutes earlier.Attendance at the meetings is free, but pre-registration is required for all participants. Registration is available online at

Each attendee will receive a complimentary copy of the 2025 Research Results book. This publication includes findings from more than 115 studies completed statewide during the 2025 growing season, including those featured at the meetings.
The update meetings provide a valuable opportunity to learn directly from Nebraska based research and better understand which practices delivered results under local conditions. These insights can support better decision making for the upcoming season.
