Reinke Manufacturing has been named the winner of the 2026 AgTech Breakthrough Award for Irrigation Innovation of the Year for its E3 center pivot system. The award recognizes technologies that improve agricultural efficiency, sustainability and productivity.
The E3 center pivot was designed to help growers use water more effectively while maintaining crop performance. Its patented design delivers precise and consistent water application across different field conditions, helping farmers improve irrigation accuracy and reliability.
The system features uniform coupler spacing at 30-inch and 60-inch intervals, providing even water distribution throughout the entire irrigation system. It also exceeds USDA Center Pivot Evaluation and Design water-uniformity standards.
Additional features include customizable span lengths from 80 to 220 feet, end booms ranging from 10 to 110 feet, the ReinLock anti-racking truss system for improved stability, and Reinke’s V-ring seals that help maintain consistent water flow.
The AgTech Breakthrough Awards recognize innovations that advance agricultural productivity and sustainable food production worldwide. The program highlights technologies that enable growers to operate more efficiently while addressing increasing resource challenges.
"Some of the most consequential innovation in agriculture is in the hardware that has defined a category for decades, quietly re-engineered to do its core job better," said Bryan Vaughn, managing director, AgTech Breakthrough.
The E3 system is currently available in the United States and Canada, with plans to expand into additional global markets as part of Reinke’s continued investment in precision irrigation technology.
