The Nebraska Women in Agriculture Conference 2026 is a leading learning event created to support women who work in farming and ranching. The conference takes place from February 25 to February 27, 2026, at the Younes Conference Center South in Kearney, Nebraska. This annual event brings together women farmers, ranchers, and agriculture workers from across the region.
The event begins on Wednesday, February 25, with a special preconference session focused on livestock insurance. This session helps producers understand important protection programs such as Livestock Risk Protection, Livestock Gross Margin, and Weaned Calf Revenue Protection. These programs help farmers reduce risk and protect farm income.
The main conference runs on Thursday and Friday. During these days, participants listen to keynote speakers who share stories, ideas, and guidance related to leadership, business planning, and farm success. The conference also offers more than 20 workshop sessions. These sessions cover five major areas of farm risk management, including production, marketing, financial planning, human resources, and legal topics.
Some workshops provide continuing education credits for certified crop advisors. These learning opportunities allow farmers and advisors to gain both knowledge and professional value.
Registration opens on January 6, 2026. Two-day registration costs $150 when completed on or before February 15. The price increases to $175 starting February 16. A one-day registration option is also available for $90. The preconference session requires an additional $25 fee.
College students may apply to serve as event ambassadors. These leadership applications are due by February 1, 2026. Sponsorship options are also open for organizations that wish to support the program and gain visibility during the event.
Registration and full event details are available online at wia.unl.edu. The conference welcomes all participants and supports equal access to learning opportunities. This event continues to guide women in agriculture by sharing simple tools, strong ideas, and helpful support for long-term farm success.
