February Staff Networking Event Scheduled

February Staff Networking Event Scheduled

By Scout Nelson

All Agronomy and Horticulture staff members will be invited to attend an all-staff engagement meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25. The meeting will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Keim 150.

The event will be hosted by the Staff Advisory Committee. It will aim to bring staff members together in a professional and welcoming environment. The purpose will be to encourage communication, strengthen working relationships, and help employees better understand each other’s roles within the department.

During the meeting, selected speakers will share insights about their work and responsibilities. These presentations will provide attendees with a clearer understanding of how different roles support the department’s mission.

After the speakers conclude, staff members will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and briefly describe their positions. This activity will help build stronger connections and encourage teamwork.

The session will offer a relaxed setting where employees will be able to exchange ideas and learn from one another. Organizers will expect that this engagement meeting will support collaboration and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Pizza will be provided for those who attend. Staff members will be encouraged to RSVP by Feb. 19 to assist with event planning. The RSVP form will be available at https://agronomy.unl.edu/rsvp-all-staff-engagement-meeting/.

Participation in this meeting will give employees an opportunity to connect with colleagues, learn more about department activities, and strengthen professional relationships. Events like this will continue to play an important role in building open communication and teamwork across the department.

All staff will be encouraged to attend and take part in this engagement opportunity.
