The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Department of Agricultural Economics is recruiting for a tenure-track professor of agribusiness management. This role splits time between teaching (60%) and research (40%).
Teaching responsibilities focus on undergraduate courses in the Agribusiness Program, covering topics like decision-making, supply chain management, financial analysis, and risk management. The successful candidate will also advise students, participate in student organizations, and contribute to undergraduate program leadership.
The research focus should be on agribusiness and issues relevant to Nebraska, such as entrepreneurship, supply chain management, value-added agriculture, or business analysis. Collaboration with other university and industry partners is encouraged.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Economics, or a related field. Teaching and research experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion are required. Experience with agribusiness management and grant writing is preferred.
