University leadership transitions made headlines when Rodney D Bennett stepped down, and Katherine S Ankerson was appointed. Coverage appeared in national higher education publications and Nebraska media outlets.

Innovation and entrepreneurship stories featured Ankit Chandra and the Spur Ventures. Chandra and Ishani Lal were cited in AgTech Navigator for analysis on ag technology startup failures and future opportunities.
