Nebraska FFA Chapters Honored and Supported at I Believe in the Future of Ag Forum

Nebraska FFA Chapters Honored and Supported at I Believe in the Future of Ag Forum

At the I Believe in the Future of Ag Forum, which the Nebraska FFA Foundation presented on March 30, ten Nebraska FFA Chapters were recognized. The event was held at the DelRay 817, the Top I Believe Chapters and sponsors were honored in the Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The top two I Believe in the Future of Ag chapters were Pleasanton and Johnson County Central. Their success was predicated on raising at least $500 in donations and taking part actively in the sponsor engagement competition with 19 corporate sponsors. Both chapters received banners during the fourth convention session at Pinnacle Bank Arena's I Believe Forum at DelRay 817.

The I Believe in the Future of Ag campaign aims to give local FFA chapters the chance to raise money for creative classroom projects, leadership efforts, community service projects and educational field excursions. Donors can select the exact chapter they want to assist during the campaign, and the chosen chapter receives 100% of all local donations. Over $362,500 has been given to regional FFA chapters so far this year.

The I Believe campaign received generous support from various sponsors including: LivestockMarket.com, BigIron Auctions, Central Valley Ag, CoBank, Green Plains, Aurora Cooperative, Bayer, Chief, Country Partners Cooperative, CPI, DEKALB, Farm Credit Services of America, Farmers Cooperative, Frontier Cooperative, Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation, Pinnacle Bank, Producers Livestock, Rembolt Ludtke, and Valley Irrigation. These sponsors contributed to the education campaign and provided matching funds for the local chapters.

Frontier Cooperative, a Nebraska FFA Foundation I Believe sponsor, expressed their pride in supporting the I Believe in the Future of Ag campaign, believing that agricultural education and FFA play a crucial role in nurturing the next generation of agricultural leaders. This campaign provides valuable resources, creates opportunities for students, and gives back to communities that have shown support.
