Free legal and financial clinics are available to Nebraska farmers and ranchers throughout March, offering personalized one-on-one sessions with specialists in agricultural law and finance.
These clinics are not group sessions but provide confidential opportunities for producers to discuss various issues affecting their farms or ranches.
The clinics will be held on the following dates and locations:
- Wednesday, March 5 — Norfolk
- Thursday, March 13 — Fairbury
- Wednesday, March 19 — Burwell
- Thursday, March 20 — Broken Bow
Participants can meet with experienced attorneys and financial advisors who specialize in farming and ranching matters, including financial and business planning, transition planning, farm loan programs, debtor/creditor law, debt structure, cash flow management, agricultural disaster programs, and other relevant topics. This initiative aims to offer an independent perspective on critical farm-related issues.
To sign up for a clinic or obtain more information, interested individuals should contact Michelle at the Nebraska Farm Hotline at (800) 464-0258. These consultations provide an invaluable opportunity for producers to gain insights and guidance tailored to their specific needs, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate challenges and plan for the future of their operations.
