Nebraska Soil Health Conferences 2026

Nebraska Soil Health Conferences 2026

By Scout Nelson

Nebraska producers, landowners, and agricultural professionals are invited to attend the 2026 Nebraska Soil Health Conferences, a pair of free, one-day educational events focused on practical and research-based regenerative agriculture strategies. These conferences are designed to help farms improve soil health, manage costs, and strengthen long-term productivity.

Two locations will host the events in February. The Southeast Nebraska Soil Health Conference will take place on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Auburn Christian Church Family Life Center in Auburn. The Central Nebraska Soil Health Conference will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Lochland Country Club in Hastings. Both conferences will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration will open at 8 a.m., and educational sessions will begin at 9 a.m.

The conferences will bring together researchers, agricultural specialists, and industry professionals to share knowledge about regenerative practices that support farm profitability and long-term soil resilience. Program topics include regenerative soybean management, reducing input costs through healthier soils, extending crop rotations, grazing cover crops, and learning from real-world field experiences.

The goal of these conferences is to provide Nebraska-relevant information that can be easily understood and applied to local farms. Sessions will focus on practical solutions that help producers make better soil health decisions while improving sustainability and productivity.

Attendance is free and includes lunch, but pre-registration is required. Participants are encouraged to register by Monday, January 26, 2026, for the Auburn conference and by Wednesday, February 11, 2026, for the Hastings conference.

Industry partners may also take part by reserving exhibitor tables at either location. Exhibitor registration is available separately for Auburn and Hastings.

For questions about the Southeast Nebraska conference, contact Ritika Lamichhane at 402-274-4755. For the Central Nebraska conference, contact Ron Seymour at 402-461-7209. General questions may also be directed to Katja Koehler-Cole at 402-504-1016.

These conferences offer a valuable opportunity for Nebraska’s agricultural community to learn, connect, and strengthen soil health practices for the future.
