True Ag Expands and Empowers Nebraska Farmers with AGCO Partnership

Leading global agricultural machinery and precision ag technology company, AGCO, is pleased to announce the addition of True Ag & Turf to its expanding dealership network. True Ag has reached an agreement in principle to acquire three AGCO dealerships in Nebraska: Manzer Equipment, Merz Farm Equipment, and West Point Implement of Columbus.

The transition is set to begin in early July 2023. With this development, True Ag will offer an extended range of sales and services across all locations, featuring AGCO's renowned brands and equipment, including Fendt®, Rogator® application products, and Massey Ferguson®.

True Ag dealerships in Columbus, Falls City, and Osmond will operate under the True Ag brand, with local management and staff remaining unchanged. CEO Nathan Wisehart emphasizes maintaining relationships and trust with local farmers, leveraging predecessors' legacies to boost sales and services.

AGCO expresses excitement about True Ag's entrance into Nebraska, highlighting the enhanced access to their diverse lineup of brands, including Massey Ferguson and Fendt. Bill Hurley, AGCO's VP of Distribution, Americas, believes this collaboration will bring greater precision ag technologies and superior services to growers in eastern Nebraska.

Steve Manzer, owner of Manzer Equipment, which will now operate as a True Ag location in Osmond, expresses enthusiasm about the partnership. He acknowledges the honor of serving northeast Nebraska farmers as Manzer Equipment and looks forward to being part of True Ag's new team.

AGCO's strategic growth plan in North America, initiated in 2022, has been yielding positive results. Recent dealership expansions in Indiana, North Carolina, Manitoba, and now Nebraska align with this vision. AGCO recognizes the investments made by its dealers in expanding services across various territories, driven by farmers' recognition of the value offered by AGCO's innovative equipment and technologies.
