2024 eastern Nebraska corn and soybean expo announced

The Eastern Nebraska Corn and Soybean Expo, scheduled for January 25, 2024, is an annual agricultural event at the University of Nebraska's Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension and Education Center in Ithaca, NE.  The event, which alternates between Saunders and Dodge County locations, focuses on corn and soybean crops.

The day begins at 8:30 am with networking opportunities over coffee and doughnuts, followed by informative sessions starting at 9:10 am. Aaron Nygren, an extension educator, emphasizes the expo's role in aiding producers with planning for the upcoming growing season, featuring a range of speakers and vendors.

Keynote speaker Mike Zuzolo, President of Global Commodity Analytics & Consulting LLC, will delve into "Navigating 2024 Commodity Markets—Funds vs. Fundamentals," providing valuable insights into grain and cattle market drivers and projections. Additional topics include agricultural meteorology, disease updates in crops, precision spraying technology, drone spraying, and more.

Participants will also have the opportunity to interact with representatives from various agricultural companies and receive updates from the Nebraska Corn Board, Nebraska Soybean Board, Nebraska Corn Growers Association, and Nebraska Soybean Association.

The expo, sponsored by Nebraska Extension, the Nebraska Corn Board, and the Nebraska Soybean Board, promises a comprehensive program beneficial for anyone involved in agriculture.  A complimentary lunch is provided, with registration available on the day.
