Bourgault Launches Next Gen Seeding Systems

Bourgault Launches Next Gen Seeding Systems

By Jamie Martin

Bourgault Industries has launched new seeding products and digital tools to help farmers improve planting accuracy, fertilizer management, and field efficiency. These updates are designed for large acre operations that require durable and flexible seeding equipment.

“PLDX combines Bourgault’s proven ParaLink™ technology with a complete redesign focused on precision, adaptability, and ease of use, Farmers can now achieve superior depth consistency without sacrificing flexibility for their fertility programs,” said Curtis Hinrichsen Bourgault Industries Ltd.

The PLDX ParaLink Dual eXtreme opener is a major new development. It features a true 1:1 depth control ratio that keeps seed depth uniform across uneven fields. Uniform seed depth supports even crop emergence and better yield potential. The opener also allows operators to control soil coverage for optimal seed protection.

Flexible knife spacing options support safer fertilizer placement in high nitrogen programs. Depth changes can be made quickly at the packer wheel or from the tractor cab using optional systems. Stronger pivot designs and simplified maintenance improve machine life and reduce downtime.

"This is more than an upgrade—it’s a leap forward Farmers want systems that cover more ground, offer flexibility, and fit real-world farming needs. The CDi50 answers that call,”said Dan Pries Bourgault Industries Ltd.

The CDi50 air seeder has also been introduced for producers who need high capacity and fast operation. It offers a 50-foot working width and a compact transport size that fits road regulations. Two large on-board tanks reduce refilling stops and allow easier field maneuvering.

The machine can be customized with different openers, row spacings, and Mid Row Banders to meet crop and soil requirements. These options give farmers better control over fertilizer placement and seed spacing.

Bourgault has also expanded its Bourgault Intelligent Control system. New features support independent operation, simplified seed planning, automatic data sharing with farm management systems, and future cloud-based connectivity.

“BiC has already proven itself as the simplest, most intuitive seeding control system on the market. With Independent Operation and our future-ready platform, we’re giving growers even more flexibility and smarter connectivity for the future,” said Phil Stokes Bourgault Industries Ltd.

Together, these new tools help farmers plant more acres efficiently, manage fertilizer accurately, and make better data-driven decisions for crop production.
