The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Center for Agricultural Profitability and Nebraska Extension in Sioux County is set to host an important workshop. This event is designed for farmers and ranchers who want to ensure the smooth transition of their operations to the next generation.
Scheduled to take place at the Harrison Fire Hall, the workshop will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Nov 21 and cover the ins and outs of estate planning.
Jessica Groskopf, an experienced educator with the Nebraska Extension, will lead the workshop. She'll share valuable tools and strategies to help participants begin and complete their estate plans. Groskopf will address common pitfalls and provide insights into the essential elements of successful estate and succession planning.
Her talk will be followed by a panel discussion featuring estate planning experts. They'll delve into the different tools available for transferring ownership and managing the legal aspects of estate planning.
Participants have often realized the importance of early planning in previous workshops, expressing a wish to have started the planning process sooner. This workshop is a response to that need, offering a structured and informative session where experienced professionals address common concerns and questions.
