Nebraska farmers can learn about financial assistance for soil health, nitrogen management, and agricultural technology during a free November 6,2026 webinar hosted by the Regenerative Agriculture Learning Hub Program (RALHP). The event is open to farmers, agronomists, crop advisers, and conservation professionals interested in conservation funding opportunities.
Representatives from the Nebraska Department of Water, Energy and Environment (DWEE) will present information on the ONE RED Ag Data Bank and Grants Program. Attendees will learn about available incentives, grants, and resources that support sustainable farm management.
The webinar will also introduce Precision Conservation Management (PCM) and its services for improving farm profitability and conservation outcomes. Representatives from the Nebraska Corn Board will discuss efforts to expand the program across the state and provide additional support for participating producers.
A major focus of the session will be the ONE RED Program, a voluntary initiative that promotes water management, nutrient-use efficiency, and soil health. The program offers financial incentives, grant opportunities, and assistance from Approved Service Providers.
ONE RED includes four participation options: payments for submitting farm data, incentives for nitrogen management, support for new soil health practices such as cover crops and reduced tillage, and reimbursements for approved equipment and technology purchases. Producers enrolling at least 80 irrigated acres may also qualify for additional incentive payments.
The program is available to eligible Nebraska producers growing crops such as corn, soybeans, sorghum, and canola in designated areas. Farmers retain ownership of their data while receiving support throughout the enrollment process.
In addition to the webinar, DWEE is offering in-person training sessions across Nebraska through December 2, 2026. These sessions will cover program eligibility, incentives, approved conservation practices, and producer referral procedures.
The webinar provides an opportunity for producers to explore conservation-focused programs that can improve sustainability, operational efficiency, and long-term farm performance.
