Nebraska “Right to Farm” Bill Debated



The Nebraska legislature has a bill that would deal with the controversial issue of nuisance oders in rural areas.

LB662, called the Nebraska “Right to Farm Act”, would restrict lawsuits pertaining to livestock oders that could create a nuisance to surrounding homes and operations.

University of Nebraska Extension Ag Law Dave Aiken says the bill could make it very difficult to file against a neighbor
