Experience the 2023 Nebraska Grazing Conference, focusing on grazing lands conservation and precision livestock management, on August 8-9 at the Younes Conference Center in Kearney, NE. The conference features speakers discussing grazing land conservation, emerging issues, and precision livestock management. Curt Pate, a renowned livestock handling expert, will be the featured banquet speaker, sharing his insights.

Kicking off the conference is an informative field tour focusing on stress-free livestock management. The event recognizes the Logan Pribbeno Family, 2022 Leopold Conservation Award recipient, from the Wine Glass Ranch in Imperial, NE. The panel discussion will feature current and former winners, including Nancy Peterson, Homer Buell, and Tim Kalkowski, discussing grazing land conservation efforts.

Throughout the conference, attendees will have the chance to learn from an array of distinguished speakers, including representatives from The Sandhills Task Force, Ward Laboratories, The Nebraska Grazing Lands Coalition, USDA-NRCS, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The second day of the conference will focus on Precision Livestock Management, highlighting the latest available technologies. University of Nebraska-Lincoln experts Yijie Xiong and Mitch Stephenson will share their expertise, while a panel discussion will feature technology users, providing valuable insights and practical applications.
