The Nebraska Agricultural Leadership Council is currently recruiting for its Nebraska LEAD Program Class 42.
Program Director Terry Hejny says their goal is to promote and develop the future agricultural leadership.
Hejny says they don’t claim to train the leaders of Nebraska, but instead claim to fast-track the future leaders of Nebraska.
"We help our people find out what they're really passionate about. What do you want to make a difference in? Where's your expertise at? How can you help your community and state in that way? There are a variety of topics, it's not just agriculture even though you need to have an Ag background. The topics include healthcare, education, world trade, and policy in general."
