Todd Greiner Farms Kicks Off Fall Season with Pumpkins and Squash

By Jamie Martin

Todd Greiner Farms Packing, LLC. (TGF) is excited to announce the start of its fall shipping season, offering Michigan-grown pumpkins and winter squash starting the week of Labor Day. This marks the continuation of TGF’s expansion as a leading source of seasonal vegetables, following successful asparagus and sweet corn seasons.

TGF is known for producing top-quality crops, and this fall, the farm will offer a variety of pumpkins—including traditional orange pumpkins, white pumpkins, and heirloom varieties—along with winter squash varieties like acorn, butternut, and spaghetti squash.

Michigan, one of the top five pumpkin-producing states, annually harvests nearly 90 million pounds of pumpkins. TGF uses premium seed varieties to yield some of the largest and most vibrant pumpkins in the region. Whether for carving, decorating, or cooking, TGF pumpkins meet the growing seasonal demand, especially as Halloween approaches.

In 2024, U.S. consumers spent $750 million on pumpkins, highlighting the importance of this seasonal product in retail sales. TGF’s pumpkins help drive impulse purchases and store traffic, making them a profitable item for retailers.

Alongside pumpkins, TGF will also ship winter squash varieties, including acorn, butternut, and spaghetti squash, all grown in Michigan’s rich agricultural landscape. The state is ranked #1 in winter squash production, and TGF provides reliable, high-quality supplies for retailers, ensuring products are available for the growing demand.
