Farmers, ranchers, and rural residents attending Husker Harvest Days 2025 will have an opportunity to meet directly with representatives from the Nebraska offices of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
The event, scheduled for September 9 - 11 near Wood River, Nebraska, is one of the largest farm shows in the region and brings together agricultural producers, equipment manufacturers, and service providers. FSA and NRCS staff will be present each day to provide valuable information on federal programs designed to support agriculture.
Visitors can find the agencies’ representatives inside the Nebraska Association of Natural Resources Districts (NARD) building, Lot 39E, near the corner of 9th Street and East Avenue. The blue building will serve as the location for farmers and ranchers to stop by, ask questions, and learn more about available assistance.
The FSA offers programs that help producers start, maintain, and grow their operations through financial support, loan opportunities, and disaster recovery tools. At the same time, the NRCS provides resources for conservation planning, technical advice, and cost-share programs that encourage sustainable land management and protect natural resources.
By attending Husker Harvest Days, farmers will have the chance to connect with staff members who can explain these programs and guide them through eligibility requirements and application processes. This direct interaction allows producers to better understand how to use federal support to improve both their operations and long-term resilience.
