Topsoil moisture supplies rated 12% very short, 38% short, 47% adequate and 3% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 12% very short, 40% short, 46% adequate and 2% surplus.
Field Crops Report:
Corn planted was 2%, near 1% for both last year and the five-year average.
Winter wheat condition rated 1% very poor, 3% poor, 26% fair, 56% good and 14% excellent.
